About the event
Since coming to the US, Rupert has won more than 50 songwriting and performing awards. In 2018 Rupert was a finalist at the Kerrville New Folk Song Contest, and an Emerging Artist at Falconridge Folk Festival. In the last five years alone 30 of his songs have been covered by other artists, including three tribute albums to his material recorded by performers in Nashville, Denver and Los Angeles. Rupert has shared stages with folk legends Ralph McTell, Wishbone Ash and Bert Jansch and he averages 120 live shows a year, in every state in the US, in Canada and in Europe.
Due to the musical/storyteller nature of this performance there will be a minimal charge of $15/seat in our 'stage-front' section (maximum 40 people).
Free seating will still be available at the bar and downstairs but a respectful level of noise will need to be maintained for this more laid-back performance to be appreciated.
